Middle School Admissions
Applications are available when a parent attends a prospective parent tour of the school. Group tours are scheduled from October through December. Parents should call the school to arrange a visit.
Upon receipt of an application, the Director of Admissions will call to arrange a meeting between the parents and an administrator. Applicants will be scheduled for a classroom visit based on potential openings in the grade.
Applicants to the middle school require the results of testing by the Educational Records Bureau (ERB). To schedule a test date, contact the ERB office at (212) 672-9800 or visit their website.
Recommendations from current schools and the most recent report card are required to complete the application. The reports should be submitted to Heschel by January 15, 2011.
Notification of acceptance complies with the guidelines established by the Independent Schools Admissions Association of Greater New York. Grades 6-8 notifications will be mailed on Tuesday, February 8, 2011.
