High School Admissions

High School Open Houses are offered from October through December. Upon receipt of an application, applicants and their parents will be called to arrange an interview with a school administrator. The application deadline is December 3, 2010.

Applicants are required to submit the results of either the ISEE (Independent School Entrance Exam administered by the Educational Records Bureau) or the BJE High School Entrance Exam (administered by the Board of Jewish Education). Students who submit their BJE exam results are also required to submit a graded writing sample.

School reports from current school are required to complete the application. The reports should be submitted to Heschel by January 15, 2011.

Notification of acceptance complies with the guidelines established by the Independent Schools Admissions Association of Greater New York.  Grades 9-12 notifications will be mailed on Wednesday, February 16, 2011.
