Israel Day Parade
May 3, 2010
19 Iyar, 5770
34th Day of the Omer
Dear Alumni,
The Heschel School will be participating in the Salute to Israel Parade on Sunday, May 23, 2010. The theme of this year’s parade is Lights...Camera… Action…ISRAEL! Our school will display our love and commitment to the State of Israel by marching in beautifully designed colorful t-shirts and carrying banners and flags.
Participation in the parade is an important and rewarding experience for our entire school community. We encourage all of our alumni to join us in this celebration. In order to facilitate the smoothest possible experience for all participants, we ask that all students and faculty assemble at 52nd Street, between 5th and Madison Avenues at 12:45pm.
All participating alumni will receive their Heschel parade t-shirt at the parade. You must wear these t-shirts to the parade with black pants along with sneakers or good walking shoes. Please bring kippot and water with you as well.
Please find the t-shirt form below. It must be signed and returned to Talia Lemberger no later than Tuesday, May 18th.
If you have any questions regarding the parade please call me at (212) 246-7717 ext. 11114 or e-mail to taliale@heschel.org.
Thank you for your cooperation and support and we look forward to seeing you there!
Sincerely,
Talia Lemberger
