Support Heschel
The Abraham Joshua Heschel School depends on philanthropic support to accomplish its many goals. We hope that parents will make the school their philanthropic priority while their children are enrolled. We also rely on grandparents, alumni, and friends to participate in our fundraising efforts.
Tuition does not cover the full cost of providing a Heschel education, nor of ensuring the socio-economic diversity of our school. We expect every family to participate in the efforts of the school to raise the additional funds necessary to meet annual operating, capital, and endowment goals by volunteering, giving, and seeking donations.
Communal support allows the school to strengthen its scholarship programs, hire and retain talented faculty, provide resources to our academic program, and support ongoing faculty development.
The Annual Fund balances the school’s operating budget and helps support scholarship needs and the academic program. The Annual Fund consists of three elements:
- Fall Campaign: a direct mail campaign;
- Winter Auction: a lively community event at which goods and services are donated and bid on;
- Spring Benefit Dinner: a community-wide dinner dance honoring philanthropists, community leaders, and faculty and staff marking their tenth and twentieth anniversaries at Heschel.
The success of Heschel’s fundraising efforts depends on the leadership and dedication of its volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact
Hila Reichman.
