Early Childhood Program The Lower School The Middle School The Heschel High School The Heschel School is located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. The Early Childhood Program and Lower School are located at 270 West 89th Street; the Middle School is housed in the Joseph Slifka Building, at 314 West 91st Street. Each building has its own library, gymnasium, science laboratory, multimedia and computer center, synagogue, music room, art studio, resource room, outdoor recreational area and offices for administration and support staff. The Abraham Joshua Heschel High School, which opened in September 2002, is located at 20 West End Avenue. A major renovation and addition to the existing structure has a state-of-the-art, 6-floor facility designed to support the finest academic program.
