Please join us for a High School Open House on October 27 or November 15. Registration is available on Ravenna.

After you submit your Preliminary Application, please sign up through Ravenna to schedule your Student and Parent Interviews, either in-person or by Zoom. 

Student Essay

Choose one of the five ISAAGNY topics listed. Essay should be no longer than 500 words.

Teacher Recommendations

English, Math, and Jewish Studies recommendations forms (available online) are required as part of the application and must be received by January 13, 2023.

School Reports

School reports from current schools are required to complete the application. An official transcript should be sent directly from the applicant’s school by January 13, 2023.

Test Scores

For entrance in Fall 2023, Heschel will not be requiring a current standardized admissions test (ISEE, SSAT, or CAT/E) as part of the application process. Applicants are instead requested to submit the results of their most recent standardized test administered by their current school — e.g., ERB, Terra Nova, or ELA.

Notification of acceptance complies with the guidelines established by the Independent Schools Admissions Association of Greater New York (ISAAGNY).

Students must be fully immunized based on the New York State Requirements.
