Before applying to our Lower School division, please know:
Students must be fully immunized based on New York State requirements.
Preliminary Online Application
Applications for entrance in Fall of 2022 will be available between September 1, 2021 and December 3, 2021. Heschel uses the services of Ravenna to facilitate an online application.

The Parent Questionnaire allows Heschel's Admissions team to better understand your child and your family. Please submit this form before your Zoom Parent Interview.

Schedule this with the Admissions Office. Prior to the interview please be sure that the Preliminary Application, Parent Questionnaire and School Report have been submitted.
Observation Form from Two (2) Teachers
On the online application, “delegate” to two (2) of your child’s teachers by entering their email addresses. The forms will be emailed directly to the teachers, and they will return them directly to Heschel. Be sure to press Submit after entering the email addresses. Due January 14, 2022.

Student Assessments for General Studies and Hebrew Language
Arrange with the Admissions Office, after the Preliminary Application, and Parent Questionnaire are submitted.
An official transcript of the student’s most recent report card should be emailed directly from the applicant’s school. Due January 14, 2022.
Financial Aid (if applicable)
Please visit our financial aid page for information about applying for aid. The deadline to complete your financial aid application is December 15, 2021.
Grades 1-5: February 8, 2022 (Reply by March 1, 2022)
