Preliminary Online Application
Applications for entrance in Fall of 2023 will be available between September 1, 2022 and December 15, 2022.

Parent Questionnaire
The Parent Questionnaire allows Heschel's Admissions team to better understand your child. Please submit this form before you attend your Student and Parent Interview.
Student and Parent Interview
After you complete your preliminary application, please sign up through Ravenna to schedule your Parent and Student Interview, either in-person or by Zoom.
School Reports
School reports from current schools are required to complete the application. An official transcript should be sent directly from the applicant’s school by January 13, 2023.
Submit Test Scores
For entrance in Fall 2023, Heschel will not be requiring a current standardized admissions test (ISEE Primary) as part of the application process. Applicants are instead requested to submit the results of their most recent standardized test administered by their current school — e.g., ERB, or ELA.
Student Essay
Choose three topics of the five ISAAGNY topics listed on the application.
Teacher Recommendation
Please send the Teacher Recommendation Form (available online) to your child’s current teacher. This form should be completed by January 13, 2023.
Financial Aid (if applicable)
Please visit our financial aid page for information about applying for aid. Deadline to complete your financial aid application is December 16, 2022.

This date is in accordance with guidelines set by the Independent Schools Admissions Association of Greater New York (ISAAGNY).
Students must be fully immunized based on the New York State Requirements.
