Percussion Club Entertains Lower School Students

During arrival on, Wednesday, May 1, the Lower School students had the pleasure to hear the Lower School Percussion Club’s performance of  a rhythm from Brazil called Samba Reggae. This club was started last semester for the Zimriyah and several children continued to participate in the club through their performance on Wednesday.  The goal of the club was for children to experience ensemble playing with different types of percussion instruments.  Club activities explored rhythms, learning different techniques on both pitched and non-pitched instruments, and improvisation.
