Middle School Athletics

At the middle school level, Heschel competes in the American International Private School League (AIPSL), and fields teams in cross country, co-ed soccer and girls volleyball in the fall season. The program is open to all students with the exception of sixth graders for team sports (soccer and volleyball) in the fall season due to team size constraints.  Sixth graders are welcome to participate in cross-country running. The fall season usually begins the first week of school, but this year we are offering two pre-season sessions, one week earlier, for all 7th and 8th graders interested in joining the soccer or volleyball team. We understand that families may have made vacation plans, so these are not mandatory practices, but we strongly encourage any students interested in playing either sport to attend if possible. Game and meet schedules will be finalized on the first week of school and made available as soon as possible.
